Measure your dog's neck snug with two fingers underneath the tape. Between sizes? Go up.
Rough size guide (1" collar):
15" — smaller medium dogs. Brittanys, small springer spaniels, whippets, smaller labs.
17" — standard medium hunting dogs. Standard GSPs, English pointers, English setters, medium-frame labs.
19" — large-medium. Full-size labs, big GSPs, golden retrievers, Chesapeake Bay retrievers.
21" — large. Big Chessies, larger setters, Weimaraners, larger retrievers.
