Sole Oak Supply is a one-person workshop in Fayetteville, Georgia, building Biothane dog gear and belts for bird hunters, hunt-test handlers, and dog owners who want gear that won't quit.
The lead that started it
It began with one piece of gear we couldn't find. We wanted a Jaeger-style over-the-shoulder lead — synthetic, fully waterproof, with a real quick-release snap — that could live in the open bed of a truck through Georgia summers and South Dakota Octobers.
Nothing on the market checked all the boxes. So we sourced the materials, and built our own. That lead became the Jaeger Over-the-Shoulder Lead. It's still our most-used piece of gear in the field, and the rest of the line — collars, check cords, training tabs, belts, brass tags, and horse reins — grew from the same approach: build it for ourselves first, then make it available to the people we hunt and train alongside.
Why Biothane
Every leash, collar, and belt we make is cut from Biothane Super Heavy Beta. We chose it for one simple reason: it works.
- Fully waterproof. Won't soak up sweat, river water, swamp, or rain. Won't mildew when you toss it in the truck bed.
- Stronger than leather, Tuffer than nylon. Doesn't crack in the cold or stretch out in the heat.
- Easy to clean. A wipe with a damp cloth and you're done.
- Doesn't smell. Wet-dog stink doesn't soak in.
We pair the Biothane with brass quick-release snaps made in Italy and the rest of the hardware — D-rings, buckles, keepers — sourced and built in the USA.

Every piece is cut, and riveted by hand at our shop in Fayetteville, Georgia. Most orders ship within a few business days. If you have a hunt test, NAVHDA event, or field trial coming up and need an expedited build, get in touch — we'll do everything we can to get you set up in time.
Custom work and kennel pricing
Our Custom Shop covers nonstandard sizes, color combinations, and hardware swaps. Running a kennel, training program, or breed club? We offer kennel discounts on orders of 6+ and wholesale pricing on 12+. Email with your kennel name and what you need and we'll send a quote.
