Sizing & fit
How do I size a collar for my dog?
Measure your dog's neck snug with two fingers underneath. Order the closest size up if you're between sizes. Our 1" collars are available in 15", 17", 19", and 21" neck sizes.
How do I size a belt?
Don't order your pants size. Measure an existing belt from the end of the buckle to the hole you actually use, and order that number. Up to 60" is standard pricing — over 60" please request a quote.
Will the Jaeger over-the-shoulder lead fit me?
It's one-size-fits-most, with extra drop compared to typical Jaeger leads. If you're unusually tall or short and want to confirm, send us your height and we'll let you know.
Materials & hardware
What is Biothane?
Biothane is a coated polyester webbing — a strong woven core wrapped in a thermoplastic skin. We use Biothane Super Heavy Beta, the workhorse grade most professional trainers reach for. Read our full Biothane vs leather comparison.
Where does the hardware come from?
Brass quick-release snaps are made in Italy. The rest of the hardware — D-rings, buckles, keepers — is sourced and assembled in the USA.
How do I clean Biothane?
Wipe with a damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, warm water and mild dish soap. Full care guide here.
Shipping & lead times
How long does an order take to ship?
Most stock items ship within a few business days from Fayetteville, Georgia. Custom and made-to-order items take longer — we'll let you know at order time.
Can I get an order rushed for a hunt test or trial?
Yes, when we can. Email us before ordering with your event date and we'll do our best to accommodate. Don't wait — the earlier you let us know, the better.
Do you ship internationally?
No- We only sell and ship in the USA!
Returns
Can I return an item?
Stock items in unused condition can be returned. Custom-made and personalized items (engraved tags, custom-length cords, special-color builds) are non-returnable except in the case of a defect. Email us before sending anything back.
What if my snap or hardware fails?
If a piece of hardware fails under normal use, we'll fix or replace it. Reach out with photos and your order number.
Custom orders & kennel pricing
Can I order a custom size, color, or hardware combination?
Yes. Our Custom Shop listing covers most variations. For anything outside that, email us.
Do you offer kennel discounts?
Yes — kennel discounts on orders of 6+ collars or leashes, and wholesale pricing on 12+. Email with your kennel name, what you'd like to order, and quantities and we'll send a quote.
Personalization
Can I add my dog's name and my phone number to a collar?
Yes — we make engraved brass tags for 1" collars, 3/4" collars, leashes, and belts. Add a 1" collar tag or a 5/8" tag for leashes and 3/4" collars.
